Gloria Kloter, AIA, NCARB, CODIA, is the founder and CEO of Glow Architects, an architecture and interior design firm located in Tampa, Florida. She's a native of the Dominican Republic who moved to the United States in 2015. She specializes in commercial and residential architecture and interior design.
Gloria Kloter has been a practicing architect both in her home country and in the United States for more than 16 years. She is also a multi-award winning architect who has dedicated a huge chunk of her career to helping other young architects grow. One of the most notable awards she received is the AIA Tampa Bay Kelley Emerging Professional Award 2020, an honor award given to individuals who have demonstrated exemplary service above self to champion the causes and issues of associate members and young architects within the chapter, local community organizations and beyond.

Gloria has been widely recognized for her work in the architecture business and has firmly established herself as a community leader in the Tampa Bay area. As a testament to her influence and impact, Gloria Kloter is the Architect Licensing Advisor of the State of Florida for NCARB through AIA Florida. She is also part of the Board of Directors of the AIA Tampa Bay where she is the chairperson of the Women in Architecture committee.
Gloria was a speaker at the first Young Architect conference 2019 in Portland, Oregon, and was a panelist at the NCARB's Architect Licensing Advisor Summit in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Recently Gloria hosted a seminar for the NCARB’s Architect License Advisors community and has been invited to be a Keynote speaker at the upcoming Western Mountain Region Conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico to speak about women in Architecture and Leadership.
Gloria Kloter has a Bachelor's degree in Architecture which she earned from Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic and a Master's degree in Architecture from Universidad de A Coruña in Spain and Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Her current work revolves around creating spaces for people to love through meaningful design that beautifully expresses their true self. As a leader in the architecture community, she is the founder of the Foreing Architects, a private community in Facebook where she mentors young and aspiring immigrant architects on how to obtain their architect license in the United States.
