This hotel had the intention of expressing the Dominican entity in its spaces and walls. The design was very ethnic and incorporated a lot of info about different aspects of the Dominican Republic traditions.
There was no better place to rest and learn about the country than this! It was like a small version of the Dominican Museum of National History.
The center of the project had the principal elevators and stairs in a spiral shape, which opened to a cylinder view of the skylights in the roof of the building. The beautiful tray ceilings and lighted fascias were just a plus.
Besides creating the design for the standard suites, we also worked with the presidential suite design and other important areas like the restaurant, pool area, upper gardens and the main entrance.
